There's video of Petrino answering "Yes" when asked if he was alone.

 

And the school's official news release informing the media about the crash said no one else was involved.

 

I'm pretty sure there's no way in hell the UA athletic department would have released a statement that included the line "no other individuals" if they knew that wasn't true because there's no way that was going to stay quiet.

This could very well cost Petrino his job.

 

Maybe he misremembered? I don't know what his deal is, but isn't it a little rude of us to assume he cheated before we get 100 percent certainty?
