    It's humorous that professional journalists are ganging up on somebody for suggesting that you wait until the facts are presented before attacking this lady and the coach.

    I'm guessing none of the people having a gay old time on this thread are the same ones who were bashing the Gawker guy for a far more innocuous supposition about Chris Jones and his wife. It is pretty sick, celebrating people who are destroying a couple's wedding guest book. Not defending Petrino. At the same time, if he was fooling around on his wife, why would his cover story contend that he was at a lake house WITH his wife (if I'm reading that correctly, anyway)? Seems that would've tipped her off. People have all sorts of reasons to lie, starting with the fact that an admission that he was joy-riding with a 25-year-old blonde on a motorcycle would have prompted internet discussions such as this. Maybe he wanted to avoid the appearance of impropriety. Maybe he was hoping that they were on the way to some impropriety and felt guilty. Maybe the girl asked him not to reveal that she was with him because she knew how it would look.

    Or maybe they were banging each other's brains out behind their significant others' backs. Point is, no way in hell is there definitive enough evidence to justify the mocking of a 25-year-old woman who is not a public figure, particularly not on a message board that is supposed to be a gathering place for professional, responsible journalists.
