    Yeah, really.

    Although if it were a five-man dogfight with him as No. 5, wouldn't that have jacked it up just a little more?

    Isn't this exactly what golf needs? A major with drama, scoring, incredible shots and three of its most recognizable post-Tiger names battling for the lead down the stretch?

    I'm sure it's been said earlier on this thread (I didn't read all five page), but Note to USGA: I know the rain has disarmed the course some, but majors can really be fun when the courses aren't set up impossibly hard. What's more fun, this or the typical last round of a US Open?

    If they just made courses par 72, scoring would look much better. Here, it's 71, and that gives players four strokes over four four days. The US Open is usually Par 70. Make it 72, and the illusion of scoring is there, without altering the course.
