I think the Trib hired another columnist too -- someone from Toledo?

 

That would make no sense, but you never know

 

The Toledo paper is owned by the same people who own the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, right? Is the Trib stealing somebody away from the competition, maybe?

 

Met Scott on several occasions during spring training. You won't meet a nicer guy, more enthousiastic. Even with what I might consider lame assignments, always turned in superior product, far outsizing the circulation of the paper he worked for.
Sometimes good things happen to good people.
I have no doubt he'll do great.
