Pizza toppings

I like pineapple and pepperoni on a thin crust. But nothing, nothing beats a good white pie.

 

Sausage, shrooms and black olives. White pizza grosses me out

 

Fresh garlic.

My wife makes a pizza with shrimp and pesto that is great.

 

When I am visiting the East Coast or in San Francisco, where I have access to good pizza, I love a plain pie. If you have access to real pizza only rarely, it's the way to go.

The other 99.9 percent of my time in the pizza wasteland known as California - sausage, green peppers and onions. I would never order three toppings on a pizza if the pizza were any good.

I live pineapple, but keep it away from my pizza.

 

Pepperoni, sausage and green peppers.

I can live with Canadian bacon, ham and hamburger.

I can pick off pineapple.

I can't live with toadstools, olives, onions or anchovies.

 

Macaroni and cheese or alfredo. I would take a Ray Guy kick to the groin before I would eat pizza with red sauce or any kind of peppers.

Good gravy, yes. Greatest pizza topping in the known universe. I am partial to BBQ chicken pizza, too, come to think of it.

 

So it's a regular pizza with mac and cheese on it?

 

with tomato sauce - pepperoni, sausage, bacon, green peppers, mushrooms.

with pesto - diced tomatoes, salami, black pepper and fresh mozzarella.

 

Sausage and onions is my go-to (with a deeper crust), but there's a good thin-crust place in town that is known for a variety of different good ones, my favorite being a Greek with green and black olives, spinach and feta.
