I am shocked........and hurt.

 

The Playboy Club absolutely sucks. I was there over NBA All-Star Weekend, and pretty much miserable the whole.time. Sure, I was already down $400, and that might've (OK, definitely) had something to do with it, but the whole atmosphere is so up-tight. And then I met the third Maloof brother,George, who reminded me of Bart's evil-twin from the Simpson's episode. You just know that Joe and Gavin have old Georgie locked up somewhere...

Certainly doesn't sound at all like the original clubs from back in the day.

 

I wager SportsJournalists.com gathers at the palms every night, just not at the same time, unless Jessica Biel picture posts are involved.

Hell there is no club or nightspot that is worth more than a $5 cover or waiting in line for more than 5 minutes to get in.

 

True story: I paid $20 for access to the Playboy Club and Moon nightclub three weeks ago, and A.C. Slater sat down at the blackjack table with me.

 

A.C. Slater?!!!!! I take back what I wrote. That is most definitely worth a $20 cover. And I do understand that clubs jack up their cover charges to keep riff-raff like me out and attract a better class of loser.

 

$40?!!!! That better come with a handjob. No way I'm layin' down $40 for a cover, otherwise.
