Please allow me to interject my feelings about Mother Nature

-23 with wind chill.
Let the dogs out to pee. They took two steps out, both turned around and looked at me as if to say “Listen here. If we have to come out and pee in this, so do you.”
Quick lap around the yard. 30 seconds later, everyone is inside.

 

Put a rock out.

 

If it makes you feel better, Chef, we lost power for a couple hours last night.

 

"Hope you had a hell of a piss, Chef!"

No matter how hot and humid it gets in my neck of the woods, a dog walk is never a "OMG! Let's get this over with in 30 seconds!" horror.

Oh when we go for an actual walk or a trip to the dog park, that’s when it turns into a hour-long extravaganza.

 

Whenever I have someone tell me “Oh, it’s only -3 outside……it’s not that bad….”
Then it gets to -7 or -8..”Oh my gracious, it’s so cold out…..what are we going to do?…”
I just wanna punch them in the throat.
You stand outside, no one in this world can tell you the difference between -3 and -7.
Cold is Cold.
Same thing with the heat.
95 ain’t bad, but 101 is unbearable.
Smack.

 

I've gone fishing with guys in south Florida who were in thermals and flannel shirts while I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
"Oh my god. It's 60! I'm freezing."

 

Time to experiment with whether various substances freeze before hitting the ground.

 

Do their their tinkles tinkle when they hit the ground?
