I have double layers of everything and my walk was fine. The mask from Rodgers's 'covid times' also came in useful to prevent windburn. I'm just pleased to see the fukkin sun.

I don't expect to ever see anyone wearing anything in that article. Put it that way.

    Not my world.

It was 4 when I went out this morning.
I think I had on five upper body layers counting my coat. It wasn't bad. It was actually far worse last Thursday when the wind started despite being 20 degrees warmer.

Driftwood, I'm not going back out with one pair of socks. In fact I'm fixing to make it three pairs tomorrow.

I had on two pair. I have a thin pair that are sort of thermal, so I put them on under my others. I also broke out my cold weather gloves instead of my thin fleece running gloves I normally use.

Not so optimal for light exercise, is it. I feel so wrapped up underneath I might as well be headed to a Victorian ball.

I ran a half marathon once, and it was 18 degrees. I looked like the Michelin Man.
I don't do much competitive stuff anymore, but that was the last time I ever pre-registered for a race in December.

I was stunned seeing people out jogging on the streets these last few days out here - me - I was doing the penguin walk just to get to my car.

I love running in weather like this. Nothing says “workout” like icicles on your beard and steam rising from your hat.
