Please allow me to interject my feelings about Mother Nature

    The only people outside of North America who get how big the U.S. is are probably in the antipodes. Russia, and China.

    Yeah, but the U.S. is a country. Africa is a continent, and a bigger one than North America is.

    We had a tornado warning for three counties just to the south of me. I haven’t heard of one actually touched down (given the hills and mountain range in the area I doubt it). But this storm that is bringing crazy weather to the Sierra is doing some funky things closer to the coast.

    Tornadoes absolutely can touch down on mountains and hills. Don’t fall for that old myth.

    Fair. I haven’t lived in tornado prone areas in a long time. Hell, we get pea-sized hail and flip out here.

    GFS model hinting at one more cold stab southward around March 19 with freezing temperatures as far south as Northeast Texas. Right now looks fairly in-and-out, so we'll see.
