I'm right there with you. It's supposed to be 80 this afternoon and snow flurries Thursday. My sinuses are on tilt, and this morning it's that intolerable spot where a jacket is too hot and without one it's a little cool. This morning I was out at 5:30, sweating, but cold.

And tornadoes and 2-inch hail in our forecast for tonight!

Might dodge a bullet here. The worst stuff is south of the Red and it's marginally severe right now.

First line passing over now. Lots of loud thunder but not much else severe about it. The bad news is it looks like the main event might be building out west.

That had a lot of potential.

Somehow, the storms fell apart before hitting here. We didn't even get a drop of rain - which of course has led to the usual suspects mocking weather forecasts.

Meanwhile, our newest maps have us at a Level 3 (with the hatched marking that indicates violent tornadoes) almost all the way down to the Florida Panhandle, with Ohio and the Bluegrass section of Kentucky at Level 4. And all of this one day shy of the 50th anniversary of the Super Outbreak.
