Please allow me to interject my feelings about Mother Nature

My iPhone is saying I will get a storm total of 10 inches of snow, even while it simultaneously says it'll be 36º or most of it.

Cantore is nowhere in sight, so I ain't skeered about a flake that will melt as soon as it hits pavement.

 

I heard that Caruso interview too and he sounded like a complete jackass. A typical oligarch with no true understanding of how the world works. He came thisclose to blaming Mayor Bass for not raking the forests.

 

I know in the mountain towns and backcountry, there are ways to "fireproof" your home like clearing trees and brush in a 100-yard radius of the house, using metal roofing and such. How do you do that in a neighborhood?

 

I couldn’t “like” this post but I know what you mean. The worst is when you get a slushy, heavy wet snow and then the temperature plummets. All the local streets that don’t get plowed become filled with icy ruts.

Heard a report of their contingency plan: Glendale, Ariz., on Monday night. Still a contingency, not a reality, yet.
