Not a song, but just thought this story had several fascinating musical tidbits. Iron Maiden's tour plane -- a refurbished 747 -- had its engines damaged in a ground accident in Chile. No one seriously injured, thank goodness.
The fascinating part is that Iron Maiden has done well enough for itself over the years to be able to purchase and operate a freaking 747, and their lead singer Bruce Dickinson is a certified pilot who flies the thing between tour stops. That is so metal.
