  4. hate genesis medleys

    just play the damn songs

guess people don't have the attention span to sit through all of musical box

the whole beauty of old genesis is the dynamics, the way the songs build and alternate loud / soft / fast / slow ... when they're reduced to little medley snippets, the beauty and the power and the genius is lost

i'd rather hear fucking Congo than that shit

Good grief ... did someone sh_t in your cereal?

I agree with hearing the individual tracks - to an extent. Would you rather someone play "Whodunnit" on repeat?

What the hell is wrong with "Congo"? Ray Wilson would have worked well - especially for those pining for the Pete era again - had Mike and Tony had any patience.

    And I thought I sounded like a music snob sometimes ... :-\

Oz, this brings me memories of junior/senior high school dances. We used to break out into a "Soul Train" line and each person would take a turn and freestyle (myself included). The DJ would act as Don Cornelius and boy that was so much fun. Those were the days ::)
