First of all, I apologize for being a first-timer. I know regular posters don't like them, so I'll keep this brief.
Back in high school one of the guys on our basketball team brought a tape (yes, a tape) to practice one day of Doug and the Slugs' Wrap It! Canadians reading this will be smiling right now. The rest of you will be wondering 'Who the fuck is that!' Everyone on the team got hooked and we listened to the tape before every game all season. I bought the record (yes, the record) and took it to university but forgot it in my roomate's stack of mostly Lou Reed records when I graduated. Took me until two years ago to find a compact disc of it for sale on the Internet. Could never find it in a record store, not even in Vancouver. Fuck I love that record. It takes me back to the winter of 1983 whenever I want to go there in my mind.
