I'm going to go buy up Bennington and declare it an independent country.

I would buy Starman and make him sit at a manual typewriter and bang out a detailed explanation of everything he knew by the time he was 10.

Why waste money on that when you can come to SJ.com for free?

I feel like he's holding out on us. There's more there.

Forgot to mention... I'll make sure the "I" key sticks every fifth or sixth strike.

According to the Geneva Convention, that would be a crime against humanity.

    I like it.

Now we're getting into silly numbers. Video-game like numbers.

The sign at the Georgia state line is not big enough to display the current pot. It's locked at 999 million.

Degenerate question: do you pay the extra buck for Power Play?

I enjoy playing the lottery occasionally and this billion dollar jackpot is pretty exciting, but damn, it's difficult to watch someone count out the last of their change and ask for a few pennies from the jar of the cashier to purchase 22 PowerBall tickets.

I'll never forget going to the Beau Rivage in Biloxi to hit the buffet. After we ate, we strolled onto the casino floor and just watched for a bit. A guy comes in wearing a warehouse uniform with his name sewn on and put $100 into the $10 slot machine. We stood and watched him play that out, took maybe five minutes at the outside. I figure it was probably about a quarter of his take home pay for the week, maybe more. Gone, just like that. Kinda sad.
