If I didn't have work / bad weather concerns about Tuesday, I would have waited until then to vote instead of early last week when I had time. I didn't vote for Pete but it was a concern that people would drop off.

My mother works for a state's Democrat Party that has their primary after Super Tuesday and they were not happy that Pete's decision came out of nowhere, especially since they finalizing assigning delegates on Friday ahead of a 4 p.m. Tuesday deadline. It's not a large number but they have to scramble. Apparently whatever ballot deadline for printing isn't for another couple weeks so at least that isn't a minor issue

I don't know if him dropping out came out of nowhere, but I'm kind of surprised he between S.C. and Super Tuesday because of the short turnaround.
That makes me think it was a brokered deal to get him out of the way.

I dunno. I see my primary vote as my only chance to truly vote my conscience. My hands will be tied to a certain extent in the general since I'm going to vote for whomever the Dem nominee is, even if it's Sanders (ugh). If my choice tomorrow doesn't win out, then so be it.

You should only early vote if you are sure of your choice. I was so I did. But if you were wavering between choices, best to wait for the latest information possible. I mean, I never bet on horses until I see them in the paddock walk.

I think the bar for him was so fucking low it was impossible for him to not out perform it as long as he knew how to string two sentences together. On the surface there was zero expected of the mayor of South Bend, Indiana. But he was young, fresh and different and got a lot of free publicity for being young and different that got him a lot of momentum in the early states. He and his representation came across as really whiny when they talked about his struggles of generating better polling among black voters. Not a fan yet, but curious to see what's next for him.

She had one really good opening after New Hampshire and had a very good stump speech that night that made me think she was going to take that opportunity and try to run with it. Instead she used it to pat herself on the back repeatedly and remind other voters why she wasn't an option.

Amy's done after Tuesday. Liz is done unless she overperforms Tuesday. Bloomberg is around as long as he wants to be because $$$, but really, he's done too.

So it's a two-person race; three if Liz does well tomorrow. I hope to be able to vote for her next month in PA. If not, I'm voting for Biden.

So I saw my first Bloomberg yard sign here driving to the post office. I wonder how much the homeowner got for it.

I agree with that. My take was more aimed at candidates who are no longer running, such as Buttigieg. If someone has already voted for him, even if that was the conscience, it no longer matters because he is no longer a candidate for the nomination.

She won’t do well tomorrow. Feels like it’s gonna be a big Uncle Joe day.

Nobody really knows how tomorrow will go. There's too many possible vote-impacting events coupled with no time to poll them.

Klobuchar out. Endorsing Biden at a rally tonight.
