You want to know the sad part about the disparity in body count? It "serves" both side's political interests. Israel gets to show her people they will do everything to defend the country, Palestine looks like a 98-pound weakling sucking on an inhaler that was body slammed by Goldberg - gaining international sympathy, particularly from other Arab nations and gaining leverage. It isn't like either side has any motivation for moving toward a stable, long-term solution during peace time.

Just guessing, but maybe they weren’t all Israelis? Maybe some were from another country who got caught in the middle of the conflict?

But what about The Media? They hold Trump to a standard to which they don't hold Sleepy Joe. Damned libruhls.

Chris Cuomo might have ascended to CNN if he had adopted the professional name Chris Smith. Maybe he's that talented.
Maybe not. If you're a talking head on a major network and your brother, the governor of a very populous state, is exposed as a sexual harasser, that sucks for you. But if you decide to be "family first" and offer your brother political counsel, you are no longer involved in a journalistic balancing act that never really existed in the first place. You owe your place in part to the family name. And when you make that decision of family over professional integrity, you must abandon your journalistic career. Sucks for you. But you'll survive.
Much like every famous on-air personality on Trumpist media, you have chosen personal considerations over all else. Decisions have consequences.

I realize Zucker's Journo "chops" were honed in morning TV (cough, cough) - but when they chose to make their top-rated evening show a "Cuomo-free Zone" and not report on the NY Gov. at all for that hour when stuff was going down - it told you all you needed to know. They should have had Cuomo tossing to a real journalist who handles the Gov. Segment at the top of the hour, bottom of the hour whatever and Chris takes a powder until the segment is done. Or just keep him off the air period. The crazy thing about CNN's line-up is that Anderson Cooper, who had the thinnest journo background of the three primetime hosts when they were hired by CNN, is easily the most professional.
And we could do a an entire thread of "the line" between the personal and the professional in what is considered journalism these days. Personal essays, regularly using your personal life as "background" or "reportage" to give "credibility" to your work product. Shoot, I remember when Cronkite taking off his glasses and smiling after the moon landing, or having a frog in his throat when JFK died was considered groundbreaking - now some "news shows" border on personal blogs.

CNN gave up what little credibility it had in journalism when it hired circus clown Zucker, and what's worse, Discovery will keep his ass in charge of the news and sports divisions when they take over.

He's the perfect example of falling upward in the broadcasting industry.

I agree here. First take care of the actual enemy, then worry about policy.
