My point is we've been seemingly days away from some NY DA office slamming the bear trap shut on DJT, Jr., Ivanka, Rudy, Jared, etc. for about 4 years. I don't honestly know a damn thing about how a DA office works and I'm beginning to suspect all the Twitter people who tell me things are happening may not know either.

I'd compare Democrats' willingness to believe in "things happening in the background, it will all be obvious soon. OH! Look at this tea leaf, it's clear they have something really big they're working on" to Republicans' belief in Q and secret arrests and "all part of the plan," except I think district attorneys do actually exist and all the Q shit is make-believe.

I get all the hopes raised in the past thing.

Now that the DOJ is no longer under Trump's control my personal belief is that things will move forward on several fronts.

Do I think Trump ever goes to jail? I'd be surprised if that came to pass. Convicted felon would be good. And judgements resulting in bigly fines would be nice.
