Well, we did install a heated jetted tub as part of a $9,000 bathroom remodel in February, replaced the HVAC the year before that and installed a water filtration system the year before that.

(And replaced all the carpet with porcelain tile and vinyl planks a few years ago.)

Even the roof is only 7 years old. Tennis buddy of mine works for a roofing company, and they were able to get insurance to replace it, citing "hail damage." Cost me only my deductible.

As I’ve mentioned, a good friend of mine is a good friend of his. And apparently, he is absolutely furious with himself for what he did that day because he didn’t realize what he was getting into. He is by all accounts a good, smart and tough leader. He fell short that day, but we need more people like him in service.

 

All it takes is one Awshit to wipe out a thousand Attaboys.
