I hate to say this about America but a great deal of what we are seeing is driven by the blame game.

Who are we going to blame for whatever situation has arisen?

How did we get here? IMHO, its roots lie in the luxury of resources that we currently enjoy; many may say times are tough, yet in what context? Health care and higher education costs have certainly risen but most everything else has been low relative to inflation. Am I being romantic or did my parents and that generation not have the time to question literally everything?

For the past however long, when something bad happens - from Afghanistan to the proverbial spilled milk - more effort has been spent looking for someone to blame than fixing the situation.
Sometimes, no one is to blame. Shit that's beyond anybody's control just happens.

Ohio Senate candidate and general scumbag Josh Mandel goes to a brewery near Toledo and takes a picture with a server who he says came in sick. He put it out on Twitter. Not long before the brewery had to denounce it, saying they sent her home, have health and safety protocols in place, and shut down about all their social media accounts.

Then he went to a town hall meeting a county away where MTG proudly announced that she has filed articles of impeachment against Biden.
