You’ll be surprised by the answer.

If I Malkoviched my way into Biden’s brain, I’d probably, as a matter of personal integrity, let a good number stick around for an asylum process. I think I’d feel responsible for their arrival and presence on the border.

And then, from there, I’d have an immediate, robust security response. I’d set an expectation that, over the next calendar year, the border is as tight as it’s been when it’s been at its tightest.

And I’d absolve Harris of and for responsibility for any of this.

To gauge public opinion on the Haitian immigrant situation, we talked to four Proud Boys at a GNC in Fort Lauderdale.

We largely agree, except I question the feasibility of some sort of "tight" barrier, short of a large scale military deployment.

The tweet aside, a fascinating graphic and story. The murder rate shrunk pretty damn fast after the passage of the crime bill.

Its rise in 2020 - and the fact that it’s going up again in 2021! - says a lot too.

What has changed since the passage of the crime bill? Something involving guns ... I can't quite remember ...

I know you want to make this about defunding the police, but murder rates rose everywhere, including 25% in places with fewer than 25,000 residents, and in places that gave the police more money. The biggest factor is there's a pandemic that has shaken everyone's sense of normalcy.

A 25% rise in communities of fewer than 25,000 residents is 4 murders to 5, in essence. 1 to 2 murders, in any given community, would be 100%. Any murder is bad, and significant of course, but it's worth putting the numbers in context.

A 35% rise in a city where there are normally 200 murders is just awful.

People have changed in the last 18 months and not for the better.
