Manchin needs to have his come to Jesus moment. Seinema (sp) needs to be recalled ( for whatever reason; at this point, I don’t care; hell, make something up if you have to).

Do that, and Biden’s doing just fine.

Sanders' status as a self-identified socialist (and a Jooo) renders him pretty close to the mooslim neegro as far as Faux Fascist Nation is concerned. He wouldn't get anything through that Obama or Hillary would have (or vice versa).

All the Dems are on board except for two, and I don't think there's anyone who would be having better success in dealing with those two.

Biden is steady, which is what the Dems needed to defeat Trump in the general election. I don't think Sanders could have filled that role in the general. Some of what Bernie advocates will happen eventually, but at this time a year ago, the goal was to oust Trump and undo what he'd done.

A reminder: Two years ago Markey and AOC proposed spending $1 trillion on climate and they were tarred and feathered with the socialist brush. Manchin and Synema can jump in a lake for all I care, but a lot more is getting done than most of us ever thought would happen.

A lot of Democrats seem more disappointed with what isn’t getting done than thrilled with what is, which is a hell of a lot more than they had any right to expect when it seemed like a 52-48 Republican senate was looming after D losses in Maine, NC and Iowa.

They busted their ass in Georgia so Joe Manchin is the right-most stumbling block, which is a hell of a lot better than Collins or Murkowski in that spot.

Beyond that, the idea that Bernie would somehow be getting anything by Manchin than Biden isn’t is laughable.

That cartoon is the best I’ve seen in a long time.

There need to be more depictions of Republicans like that one.
