    As of this week, the states with at least 20,000 deaths:

    California
    Texas
    Florida
    New York
    ------------ over 50,000
    Pennsylvania
    ------------- over 30,000
    Georgia
    Illinois
    New Jersey
    ------------over 25,000
    Ohio (close to joining the 25,000 club)
    Michigan close to joining the 25,000 club)
    Arizona

    The average deaths per day in the country is still between 1,000 and 2,000
