I'm wondering about Liz Cheney's motives and just how noble they are exactly.

I think she knows she will outlive Trump and is positioning herself as the GOP leader to pick up the pieces after it all inevitably implodes. But don't be fooled. She was the birthiest of the birthers in 2009. She (and current MSNBC boy-toy Bill Kristol) called Eric Holder a jihadist in 2010. I'm waiting for the 800-word opinion piece on this subject from the usual outlets.

History doesn't lie but sometimes historians do.

 

I don’t care how noble she is or isn’t. She’s orders of magnitude better than Trump and she’s trying to bring him down.

That’s good enough for now.

 

Would love to listen to Schiff and Cheney chat and strategize behind closed doors.

 

The "enemy of my enemy is my friend" is extremely useful at times. Just look at WWII and the U.S. and Soviet Union against the Third Reich.
