She's making the party as a whole look bad, and having to deal with her via a vote will split the party and inflame possible primary challenges from the Magats. It's not about right or wrong, it's laundry.

 

Mitch is looking at her winning the Ga. Senate primary in '22 and then getting eviscerated by Warnock, giving the Dems that seat until 2028. He's looking at Greene clones winning primaries in Pa. and Ariz. and Ohio and killing his chances of EVER being Majority Leader again. He is the ONLY Republican leader who can tell Trump and the Trumpists to go fuck themselves and make it stick, because he really doesn't give a shit. Last November was likely his last election. He's not gonna be deposed. Who'd replace him? Cornyn? Too stupid. Thune? Too nothing.
