The holy roller KKK Shiite Southern Babtists who make up the core of MAGA Nation have always been virulently anti Catholic. Might be time for the IRA to commission an overseas strike team to rattle their cages.

 

I love it when it gets awkward. It really must be brutal for the cable news big shots to have to go to this thing to shmooze with advertisers knowing they're going to be dissed and called out. Toobin, Chuck Todd, Doocey, particularly. It struck me that what made Obama's first one so strong was that he had an image of being "cool," but not necessarily funny and he hit every punchline. Biden has been Biden for so long, kind of goofy and self-effacing, that it didn't land as hard.

 

It's a dark thought admittedly, but I was wondering who would be the "designated survivors" in the media if things went very very badly Saturday.

It will be interesting to see what happens when some group wants to commemorate an event by flying a Nazi, KKK, Russian/Soviet, or Satanic flag. It probably won't be long before Boston does away with the extra commemorative flagpole to avoid the resulting blowup.
