I know the court’s critics say it’s become another political body, but I like to think it’s still somewhat above the fray. Some pissed-off clerk leaking a draft is disappointing.

Also we don’t know how narrow the final ruling will be. Not saying that’s a GOOD thing, but let’s take a breath before stroking out.

Broken clocks are correct twice a day. They’re right on this one. You’d know better than me, but I’ve never heard of any written decision being leaked.

It’s certainly a breach of trust, but not as compared to the opinion itself. You don’t allow Garland to be nominated and you rush Barrett onto the court, I’m not very sympathetic to pearl clutching over a lack of etiquette.

 

Or Alito wanted it leaked because his five votes might be waffling.

They are going to overturn Roe. They are coming after Griswold, Loving and Obergefell.
