    Meh.
    Generation Jones is, like '61-64. We're kind of lost. Definitely not boomers. I'm '63 and claim X. But we're Generation Jones. Includes Obama.

    Generation Jones: 1954 - 1965

    My older sibling are late 50s babies.. they are boomers. It's a subtle yet distinct difference.

    Born in 61 and I was the eldest of my parents 2sons. Never identified with boomers. The Big Chill was definitely the previous generation. I always considered myself GenX but Gen Jones definitely fits

    FWIW, Douglas Coupland defined Gen X as 1960-78. And his book about working McJobs and having information overload turned out to be prophetic.
