This one's a freebie for DeathSentence. He would have vetoed it anyway, and he should have. Why invest $35 million in state money in a team that is far from guaranteed to remain in the state anyway. But when the Rays dared suggest that guns are a problem, he had a platform.
The amazing thing is that pre-Trump, no politician would admit he was vetoing legislation out of spite and difference of opinion on an unrelated matter. Now they can do it proudly.
The Rays, of course, saw no downside in their stance. They're on their way to Nashville and everybody knows it. No matter what the outcome of this particular legislation was going to be.

 

I can't believe the left (or the right) let it get to this. What kind of country are we living in when you can't lie to the FBI or Congress and get away with it?

I’m not sure what the procedure is in a statewide race in Pennsylvania for removing someone from the ballot, but Democrats better be ready with a good backup plan if this guy kicks it.
