I don't like the trends either. But whatever happens today, unless Biden murders someone on a Twitch livestream, will be forgotten by the end of the week.

 

After Crenshaw, are we entering the French Revolution period of the GOP? You'd think that there would be some leadership within the GOP that realizes its only a matter of time when every GOPer gets the Crenshaw treatment. You stay quiet when violent mobs do their thing, they figure its okay.

I believe Georgia suspended its gas tax on March 18. Originally was supposed to end at end of May but has been extended until mid-July. I guess its taxes were among the lowest anyway.

 

Gerald Ford was arguably the best athlete who ever held the office. Two-time national champion at Michigan. What people remember of the clumsiness is Chevy Chase, not Gerald Ford.

Ford lost because he pardoned Nixon; because he inherited a terrible economy; because of "there is no Soviet domination of Eastern Europe"; Vietnam; the Mayaguez.

Even then, he lost to Carter only narrowly.
