Whenever someone comes out against court packing, I always like to point out that the Rs already came out and said that they were perfectly fine with having a number different than 9 on the court.

The Rs were already quoted as saying they were fine with 8 in 2016 because “the people should decide” and multiple Rs even said they wouldn’t allow Hillary to fill any open spots if she was president. Meaning that if she won instead of Doofus and if the Rs had their way, we may have had 6 justices on the court.

The Rs have come out and said less than 9 is fine. So what’s the difference of there’s more than 9?
