I think if the accounts are different that means the person exaggerated the story to her. She was pretty sure of the story she was telling.

 

Why does credibility matter so much to Republicans?

 

One thing about 2024 that I haven't seen mentioned here is that I think it could be entirely likely that Trump would run third-party if he lost in the Republican primary and bring down both ships, which is perhaps another reason the Republican establishment cowers in fear of him.

 

It does matter because this is what they do. They will latch on to that issue rather than the stuff that matters.

 

That would guarantee another term for Biden/Harris. It would be just like 1968, where Wallace robbed Humphrey of sure EVs in the South and Nixon coasted to victory.

 

But fear of minorities is baked in to the GOP cake.

Because its just too soon. The J6 committee doesn't need time behind them, just evidence. And when they get all the perfect, indisputable evidence that they can, and it's a slam dunk, they'll say "See, told ya", and go back to trying to re elect Joe Biden instead of driving that evidence home.
