I think about all the Tea Party types who have been flushed out of DC since its "founding" 12 years ago. Scalise might be the only one left with a political career when this is over. Say this for Trump - he did "clean up DC" of a lot of cruddy politicians, of course he did this by appointing them to posts and either driving them out of their jobs, or their corruption was publicized. All the chiefs of staffs, the spokespeople, the cabinet heads. Some real trash.
