It's a terrible idea. Trump will petition for a change of venue out of Atlanta to, say, anywhere else in the state and find a highly acceptable jury pool there. He'll need only one to hang but will likely find a friendly klan of a dozen who will acquit. In either event, it won't end well for democracy.

 

At this point, it shouldn't even be a matter of conscience; it's a matter of survival.

 

how galactically dumb do you have to be to travel with any cannabis product on your person? Yeah this is all wrong as hell but it's also dumb, too.

 

I'm truly stunned how "late" we are in the cycle - and even in this state, the Dems seem to be lollygagging - with three toss-upish House seats in play. In the past I'd assume they know what they are doing - I don't anymore. When you are looking at a bad forecast, you need to get to the fight earlier, take the offensive and never let up.

 

They're all owned by Putin's oligarch buddies.

 

I was about to say. Their safety cannot be guaranteed anymore.
