One other thing is that if people are buying insurance off the exchange, they have to make sure they know what they are buying. Too many times, people go on random websites, have insurance brokers set them up with something, and later, the buyer finds out that it’s either a crap plan or a non-ACA compliant plan. Then the crap plan company says they’re not responsible for the independent contractor brokers who made promises to the buyer.

One of the biggest BS plans are those health sharing ministry plans. Typically, although not always, they are religiously based. And essentially, people pay the ministry their fee each month, thinking that it’s an insurance premium, and instead, it’s money that is being pooled with the other sharers’ money and the ministry decides what medical bills to pay and what bills not to pay.

Some of these ministries will only pay for a handful of office visits a year, or maybe a couple of nights in a hospital. And then the buyers get ill, rack up thousands in bills, and wonder why their “insurance” is not paying.

 

The best thing for this country would be for the Quarter Pounders to finally kickstart the massive coronary. If he goes to trial, can you imagine the shitstorm outside that particular federal building?

 

If she’s raising money for it, she’ll have no trouble. But at least the cash will come exclusively from a klan of stupid people who believe the Earth is 10,000 years old and once included a guy who had been swallowed by a whale.
