    I remember thinking when Trump won that at some point Cheney would end up as Speaker of the House after the GOP came to its senses. OK, doesn't look like that's going to happen, but I thought she had positioned herself well for a post-Trump GOP. I can't think of anyone in DC now who I think the GOP could "build around"if or when the party suddenly cools on Trump. Wait for '24? Mitch is a great tactician in the Senate and obviously very soft on Trump, not someone the base or other legislators will rally around. They all share the same shame.

    I’ve seen enough boomers and folks my age badly botch Facebook math problems that I have no interest in their bitching about new strategies for teaching math.

    F’n commenters thinking order of operations is some function of the new common core kills me every time.
