I'd say 57-43 is a lot more like a hung jury than an acquittal.

He's a wizard fundraiser and a fair if not great hand at managing his caucus. But he will never arouse the slightest passion or even admiration from Democratic voters. It's just not in him.

Really an embarassment for the GOPers who voted acquittal.

"Most bipartisan impeachment in history ... " that's some Trumpian superlativism right there.

I'm sitting here for no good reason waiting for Mitch McConnell to step up to that podium and say, "Whatever."

Trumps money has been in the on deck circle this entire time.

It would have been nice if the impeachment would have laced a double into gap, though.

Hope every Democrat props his/her feet up on their desks and reads something else while Moscow Mitch delivers his pile of crap.

I said this long before this trial ever started: With the exception of Mitt Romney and maybe Lisa Murkowski, I don't want to hear from a Republican ever again. When they don't like something, I don't care. When they start complaining, ignore them. They haven't been interested in working on anything for the betterment of the country. They're not interested now and they won't be interested anytime soon.

Ignore them. Just ignore them. And especially Moscow Mitch.

Better yet, just walk out. Do not acknowledge their presence. Before ANY of you scream that this is not diplomatic, since when have the Republicans done ANYTHING in good faith?
