I hope the three way dance goes on to November.

At the moment it favors Peltola.

I didn't realize Texans don't "register" as members of a party. They request a ballot during the primary (where not many people vote) from a political party and vote in that primary. But while most states have a growing "non-affiliated" section of the electorate, technically, all Texans are "non-affiliated." There is a bunch of other stuff they do there to keep the turnout down (which has delayed the state from going blue) and the gerrymandering has yielded a very red legislature and congressional delegation, but supposedly - some down ballot Dems are even closer than Beto is to winning statewide. Getting Dan Patrick out as LtG. would probably do more though than winning the Governors race.

That is how Alabama works, at least for now. The Republicans are probably going to put in closed primaries next session because they’ve caught on to the fact that many Alabama progressives vote in the GOP primary in hopes of getting the least-smelliest turd from the toilet bowl.

I'm just waiting for him to get sacked. I'd like to be able to watch MTP again one of these days.

Todd was the network's number-cruncher, Kornacki before Kornacki. He got promoted above his ceiling when Russert died.
