    Eh, the last poll on Aug. 7 still had Abbott +7 on Beto. The closest Beto has been is within 5 points, and Abbott was +18 on one poll on June 10. Also, while guys like Crenshaw and Nehls are happy to coast off Trump's popularity, I don't think either one is willing to go down with the ship. (Paxton, the AG? He's shitty, but if a Bush couldn't beat him, I kind of doubt a D is, even if said Bush was pretty unpopular.)
