It would be funny if some blue state would make an offer to some convicted felons that if they wanted to be let out of jail in Florida or Texas, they were free to go. Transport them there and open the door with the condition that if they returned, they went back to prison.

People's cell phones are so ubiquitous and everyday-normal these days that they are not even given a thought anymore. It's their phone, computer, calendar, calculator, address book, photo album, TV, record player, and everything else, all in one.

And people forget that. It just...is -- so much a part of the everyday dress code as to be hardly more noticeable, even to the "wearer," than a pair of pants.
