Ryan is Beto 2.0…gives sane people every reason to vote for him but loses by a couple of points because his state is overwhelmingly insane.

 

A vote for any Republican this cycle is a vote for Trump.

 

If the GOP wins either or both houses, they won't be able to help themselves. They will make such asses of themselves, the 2024 election will be another presidential-year blue wave. Followed by a conga line of GOP secretaries of state and AGs doing the federal perp walk in 2025.

 

Lifelong Ohioan here, and I'm not sure what to make of this race. Drove through Jordan country coming from Columbus to home in NW Ohio last week. Saw lots of Trump flags but few JD Vance campaign signs, but did see a few more signs for Tim Ryan.
I live in a small city, home to a fortune 500 petroleum company, extremely Republican and conservative. I've seen less than a handful of JD Vance signs but quite a few Ryan signs in the city. Makes me think he can pull it off.

I assume polling is 3-5 percent wrong in favor of the Democrat since 2016, so Ryan and Vance are probably even as they hit the stretch run.
