It’ll be interesting if they do end up on some of these local boards. They’ll find out pretty quickly that they’re going to be spending more time listening to complaints about potholes and trying to figure out special education budgets than playing Culture War.

Trumpers already took over all our school boards back in the Tea Party days. It’s a position where poorly prepared candidates can win office just because so few people care who fills the positions.

Honest question: Are there laws about price gouging? Since Senators can't prosecute anyone, did Fetterman say there should be laws against price gouging and he'd support them?

Trumpists are running as secretaries of state and town clerks and the like in lots of places. It's part of their strategy for a soft insurrection. They're going to control the voting apparatus in a lot of small, rural places. It'll be like the Kentucky county clerk who wouldn't certify same-sex marriages. These MAGAts will ignore court orders. You'll need the National Guard to go in for anything to happen.

Until a few weeks ago I was thinking presidents couldn't spend money without Congressional approval, so maybe Senators do have some heretofore unknown prosecutorial power.

    Gasp!

Dr. Ronny was a verbally abusive schmuck subject to “rage, tantrums and meltdowns” who had two alcohol-related incidents during presidential trips when he was “in charge of providing medical care and treatment to U.S. government officials.”

His approval rating in his district just went up 5 points.

He's weighing a Senate run. Seriously.

The list of Presidents who have spent money without Congressional approval is a pretty long one. Probably started with Jefferson, but Lincoln did it and then some in the first nine months of 1861.

At some point you'd think somebody would pump some bullets into Alex Jones.
