How many billions have been spent on this election? And they have to decide where to work and where not to work? It's truly amazing.

It seems like about half an hour ago, the Dems were going to retain the governorship and gain the AG seat in Kansas.

And then western Kansas started reporting and now both races are 50-50.

1.7 million people and counting think Herschel Walker belongs in the Senate.

    So depressing.

Despite the best efforts of Murdoch and those who voted for 3rd parties, Zeldin of the Weak Chin loses in NY

On the 538 blog, Silver's basically using the "within polling error" excuse for the reason why the actual numbers aren't matching his forecast of a massive shift to the GOP over the past six weeks. This after making reference to his University of Chicago economics degree yesterday. I'll bet he also stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, too.

The Republicans should look back on this not for the seats they gained, but the ones they gave away because voters actually saw through many of the shitty candidates (or split the ticket).

The sad thing is that these kooks win and brings out more of them. They think they can run literally anyone and still win, and the problem is in too many cases they are right.

MSNBC wishcasting a House change of GOP +9 with maybe some seats picked off out west.

A thin GOP majority might be worse because it empowers the crazies in the party. An impeachment a week.

They didn't think he'd win. He's a good candidate who forced a lot of late money to come in for Vance.

GA going to runoff. Fetterman will win.

Might as well go to bed. The House race looks like it's going to California, where it'll be Christmas before we know.

ADD: NBC decision desk over-under is 219 GOP, 217 Dems. With a margin of error of 13 seats.

So much for the Red Wave™.

We're sitting here watching Election Night TV in our house right now, and I literally just said exactly the same thing, in almost exactly the same words.:(
