I'll be very disappointed unless I fmd out Obama left the stage to an ear-splitting recording of "Werewolves of London."

it’s a foolish move. Pure political patronage, with little true upside. It’s a good way to turn NH red. It won’t turn SC blue.

If Biden runs again, and unless there's a drastic turn for the worse in his health, he will, it won't matter which state is first for the Democrats. And in 2028, they can change up the order again. IMO Michigan or Nevada would be best choices as the first state, not that I believe it matters much. Presidents Paul Tsongas, Pat Buchanan, Gary Hart, John McCain, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders all finished first in New Hampshire. And I seriously doubt many New Hampshirites care all that much about being the first primary, unless they own television or radio stations. Sure, it breaks up the boredom of a New England winter. But that's all it does for most people.

I guess we'll see New Hampshire move its primary to Jan. 1 because according to state law, it has to go first. Not that any other state is bound by NH law regarding primaries, but their law says they will move theirs to be first.

New Hampshire state law stipulates that the presidential primary shall be on the second Tuesday in March (the date when town meetings and non-partisan municipal elections are traditionally held), but that the Secretary of State must, if necessary, change the date to ensure that the New Hampshire primary will take place at least seven days before any "similar election" in any other state.

In 2008, it was Jan. 8 for exactly this reason. The Iowa caucus was Jan. 3. I think the newsroom Christmas tree was still up on the night of the primary.
