Apparently Brian Kemp, who smartly distanced himself from Herschel during the general, is sending his machine to knock doors and directing money to HW.

As they said about Bradshaw, he couldn’t spell “Cat” if you gave him the c and the t.

See, here’s the thing: Most Republican states would be happy to send a Votebot to the Senate. Let a chosen one or few dictate policy, the Votebot hits the button, everybody’s happy. A Republican Votebot would beat Warnock in Georgia (even though Herschel Walker might not.)

To a growing number of people, independent thought or actually representing your constituents is actually a bad thing. (This is one thing that is kind of true on BOTH SIDES!; look at how we treat Manchin on this board. He is very in tune with what West Virginians want, even as he is occasionally out of line with the Party.)

It does give those of us who actually believe in small-d democracy pause.

The author is an instructor at HLS. I know next to nothing.
If the Trumpists possessed and displayed their beloved weapons legally, can they gather like that? Or must their assembly be under the guise of petitioning the government for redress of grievances?
