Watching CNN. After it looked like the House had voted to adjourn, CNN broke in with a claim of dramatic news, saying Gaetz had "switched to Yes." The people on set didn't ask the important question: "Yes to what????"
In context, it seemed like the vote was Yes to the motion to adjourn, which would have ensured they'd be out until Monday.
Five minutes later, the screen finally told us that Gaetz' change was from "Present" to "McCarthy."

 

All these so-called "ideological hardliners" voting present, the ultimate copout.

Liking what I saw from the new, younger Democratic house leadership.

When this is over I still want someone to punch Gaetz in the face.
