It should not have taken some smart Johnnie in the WH longer than a week or two to think that they should be checking on their own secret records. It's still perfectly legit how they were handled. The argument to be made is that the first ones were discovered and then they started checking everywhere, and all procedures re safe storage were met, Biden still had clearance, etc.

The thing is that even though Trump did it willfully, sloppily, and did not cooperate, they will point to Biden having secret docs laying around in three or four places. How can it be such a big deal it this President was doing it to that extent? I don't mean in court but court of public opinion and R propaganda.

Or they could present their plan, if they have one. But right now, their hot-button issue seems to be gas stoves (if you'll pardon the expression).

Organization matters. If it wasn’t for the fact he was a Black Mooslem, they’d be studying how Obama rolled to his two wins. Flipping NC and Indiana didn’t just happen (obviously not the complete story because of the state of the country). He had a great ground game.

As for Trump’s blowout if he spent smartly, he might have won, but not a blowout. Covid and the economy put him behind the right ball. There wasn’t going to be a blow out.

Well, Psaki probably demanded full access and authority, and she got it - KJP isn't the first WHPS hung out to dry by Oval Office types holding back info - you can only communicate what you know. And it will make me laugh in a few days when those same Oval sources are quoted anonymously saying the messaging is the problem.

This is when Democrats should be cleaning up, just after Republicans took five days to elect a speaker and we have the debt ceiling mess coming up. Instead they're stepping on their own dicks again and giving Newsmax/Fox/whomever else material for a month. Ninety percent of these folks were in the Obama White House, where this would've been handled much differently from Day 1.

And Andrew Johnson's too, because Republicans never leave anyone behind.
