I feel the same way about him as I do about George Zimmerman.

I disagree with the verdict. He went looking for trouble and he found it. To me, that’s not self defense. He inserted himself into the situation.

The jury didn’t see it that way and it is what it is. If he had just shown one bit of regret for killing another human being and said “I regret that it happened but it was either me or him,” and quietly gotten on with his life, I could have respected that.

Justified or not, someone is dead because of him. I don’t think he knows what that really means. I hope someday he does.

At least Zimmermann only killed one person. Rittenhouse seems like the type who’ll be dead in 15 years from an overdose.

 

Step back from the crap we learn about this guy on a seemingly hourly basis and consider that a politician representing part of New York City blatantly lied about 9/11.

At this point it is a matter of when he resigns, not if. Over/under of Easter sounds about right.

 

Since we couldn't throw him in prison for 50 years, the calculus is rather plain. He's too notorious to get a "real" job other than being a professional victim, but that's a lucrative profession when there are thousands of angry white people who want someone to justify their racist, paranoid, vigilante fantasies. Pure business decision.
