Then there's the case where seven of his employees reported him for corruption in Sept. 2020 over his committing crimes to help a donor/developer get big contracts and in exchange got his million dollar home renovated. That was four years ago, the indictment's been out for a while and the DoJ's Public Integrity Section just took that case over. The reporting I saw was that such cases are normally transferred to D.C fairly quickly, in order to avoid federal prosecutors in a given state/city having to prosecute someone in the same location to avoid political hard feelings. Jack Smith used to run the Public Integrity unit.

There was a civil suit filed by four of his accusers regarding the case that was just settled. It's the one where Paxton had to pay $3.3m and apologize.

My guess is Fox News is dumping regular coverage for a special 7-day deep dive into the 30th Anniversary of the Whitewater investigation.

 

Ivanky rarely has any ideas more detailed than whether she's gonna wear underwear that day.

Of course it should certainly go without saying that anything and everything Meadows says is bullshit.

If Fox had intended to settle, they would've months ago. They made the calculation that they'll get a favorable jury and judge and win at trial. We'll see about that.
