Government assistance is so messed up in America that, in order to get food-insecure kids some free meals, the millionaires' kids in Prior Lake have to get them for free, too.

But, so it goes. At least the right kids are getting the free meals. Which is a good thing.

 

It's a state charge, so extradition will be on the table.

I wouldn't be shocked if DeSantis actually tries to block Trump's extradition to either New York or Georgia. The effort would be purely to burnish his credentials against the Derp State.

In New York City, we do free public school breakfast and lunch and afterschool meals.

During the worst of the pandemic we expanded that program to include anyone who needed a meal.

You can't means-test everything.

The Brits give everyone a child tax credit and the reason they do is so they get buy-in from… everyone.

 

I would think he wants the opposite: tons of cameras and him getting perp walked and stopping to shout “See, this is Joe Biden’s America where he arrests his political enemies.” And Fox and talk radio will lap it all up.
